The Summit Redux is an annual DCIA event for everyone who missed this year's IA Summit, and for those who attended and want to continue the discussion.

Since there are so many topics this year we'll rotate between 8 different themes (listed below). Two facilitators will lead the discussion about each topic.

Want to participate? We need people who attended the Summit to talk about their experiences! If any of the themes below interest you, let us know at dc-ia-owner at yahoogroups dot com. Presentations should be informal, short, and practical. It's really easy!

And if you're planning to attend, please RSVP so we can get the right amount of food and beverages. There are only so many stale bagels a couple of 20-lb dogs will eat.

Cost: $5

Format: Eight 20-minute tag-team sessions discussing different themes from the conference

It's that time of year again! ASIS&T SIG-IA and the IA Institute are sponsoring the 7th annual IA Summit, this time in Vancouver, Canada. It is the premier event for information architects each year. This is everyone's chance to catch up, meet new people, and talk about the hard issues. As always, IAs from DC are prominent in the program.

DCIA has organized a pair of networking events for DC folks at the Summit. Meet new folks who work just around the corner from you over dinner or breakfast. Talk shop. Catch up. Find a job.
